About DiamondsDiamond Clarity:
No two diamonds are alike. A diamond’s most distinguishing characteristics are it is inclusions, marks that are oftentimes invisible to the naked eye. However, under a jeweler’s magnifying loupe or microscope they may look like crystals, tiny rivers, or clouds. A diamond’s clarity is determined by the presence or absence of inclusions–fewer inclusions mean better clarity–and how visible they are. The dandier a diamond’s clarity, the dandier it is splendor and value. A diamond categorized as internally flawless will have no inclusions, but this is exceedingly rare.

4Great for the price
By Celeste
I purchased B&W twist earrings at a mall jewelry store and was giving careful consideration to purchasing the sameness necklace. I was thrilled to find that I could get it on Amazon for 1/2 the jewelry store price. I was very concerned when it comes to how the quality of the Amazon version would compare. The pieces are identical in how they are made, but the jewelry store earrings have much darker black diamonds then the Amazon necklace. They necklace looks black, but when you hold it up to the earring in bright light, by comparison they look a dark, smoky gray. My faith is that they are in truth made by the same company and the higher quality versions go to jewelry stores, while Amazon gets the lower quality ones. The divergence in the stone color is scarcely noticeable, but it is there. I will keep the Amazon piece, as I don’t think any person will be examining my jewelry that closely. I am not a jeweler, so the comment on the quality of the diamonds is only my personal opinion.

5Beautiful
By Kat
My son-in-law purchased this for my daughter as a Mother’s Day gift. It arrived in 1 day! They both wear black diamond wedding bands and her engagement ring is a black diamond with white diamonds on both sides. This necklace will compliment her other jewerly. The diamonds on the necklace are little but graceful in appearance. It’s the kind of necklace you could wear with a gorgeous evening dress or t-shirt and jeans.

Gold jewelry is an asset for the buyer, or in the event where it is staged as a gift, an asset to the receiver. 14K gold jewelry is in general considered to be the idealisti karat gold for rings and wedding bands because it is strong yet will not without apparent effort tarnish.

People all over the world have a strong sense of appreciation for gold. Several bloody wars were the result of fights in regards to gold. It is likewise a known fact that from the earliest times, the amount of gold you possessed was apparent of your power and authority. Up to this moment, people the world over have not lost their fascination for gold jewelry. Gold jewelry has always been part of significant ceremonies such as weddings and numerous other religious events.

What is Gold?

The color of pure gold is metallic yellow. With dissimilar types of metals or respective alloys such as iron pyrite or copper, copying or imitating the color of gold is not hard to do. It is possible to manufacture the same look as 14K gold.

So why pick 14K gold?

The answer is easy. Gold does not change in color, or does not rust, corrode, or fade. Gold survives time. In addition, gold may be shaped to any size or shape.

However the flexibleness of gold does have a drawback. Due to pure gold’s flexibility, it is a very soft metal and consequently are not very lasting in it’s purest form. Because of this, sure other metals are mixed with gold in order to beef up it and make it more more inviolable and durable. These mixtures of metals are called alloys. As a rule, metals such as copper, nickel, zinc and silver are applied to fabricate these alloys.

As cited these alloys beef up the gold but also play a huge share in the determination of the color of gold. For example, yellow gold will comprise copper, and white gold will have nickel, zinc & copper. Making use of these alloys, gold may be staged in an array of dissimilar colors. From there yellow, rose or white gold.

Purity in terms of Karat

The amount of purity is indicated by the letter “K” followed by the number of constituents out of 24. Karat is indicated in 24ths, making 24k gold 100% gold. In other words, purity of gold is measured from 1 to 24. 24 Karat gold is the softest and gold in it’s most purest form.

For 18K gold, 18 constituents out of 24 are gold and the remaining 25% will be an alloy. The more alloys there is, the lower the karat value of gold. The higher the alloy content, the more inviolable and more lasting the piece of jewelry will be.

It is specifically employed in jewelry that needs to represent high value such as engagement diamond rings and wedding rings. 18K gold is also employed when a rich yellow color wants to be received in a sure piece of jewelry. 18K gold jewelry are evidently not as strong or hard as 14 or 10K gold and accordingly will wear off sooner, but this fact does not cause any decline in popularity.

14K gold means that 14 of the 24 karats are an alloy. Probably 90% of all the gold engagement rings and wedding bands sold in the United States are made with 14K gold. When choosing the best karat gold for wedding bands, you may not go wrong with 14K pieces.

10K Gold Wedding Bands comprise less gold and more of the alloy. This result in 10K gold being less pricey than the typical 14K gold prices. It is the least pure form of gold and plainly the form of gold you will pay the least for.
